We wanted a raw, edgy, urban sound for this.  Peter Flannery’s play is set in a shabby Manchester squat. Students and dropouts witness and get embroiled in the social collapse in the city and the onset of riots.  We recorded on tape, adding loads of over-dubs to create a wall of sound.
