PEG LEG MAN

Animatte Films/Film Four.  The same director as Elephant.  A modern, mythic tale. Four young urban children venture into the woods and find an old grave.  Some bones, a human skull, a broken rifle and a hand grenade.... A very subtle film about innocence and death, we tried to make the soundtrack subtle too, with just a hint of menace in the background.  These sound cues turn up on Closer Apart Playing Mono, drawn together into a single piece, some of which reflects our interest in “musique concrete”.
